Webinar The role of psychology in the climate change crisis
Psychology has an important role in the climate change crisis.
There is a need to increase awareness of the role that psychology has in tackling the climate change.
This webinar will raise awareness of the role of psychology in explaining why there may be reluctance to take action on climate change, how psychology can help us to deal with the impacts of climate change on our health and wellbeing, and how psychology could help us to tackle the climate change crisis.
The webinar will highlight some recent research to support the theories and impacts discussed during the session. Various conference presentations and papers have been produced on these topics but not in this format to the wider audience.
This is an introductory webinar and is suitable for psychologists in professional roles and non-psychologists so anyone with little or no knowledge of the role of psychology in the climate change crisis can attend.
